AFFORDABLE HOUSING IN CAPE MAY COUNTY 2.5.24 

 

Featured Presenters are Former NJ Senate President Steve Sweeney; Jacqueline Jones, Executive Director of the Vineland, Ocean City and Cape May City Housing Authorities; Yvonne Sullivan, Executive Director of Family Promise-Cape May County and Tyler Keene, Executive Director of The Branches Outreach.

 

This program offers an overview of legislation that governs Affordable Housing, new legislation, now under consideration and a discussion of median incomes and what defines Affordable Housing and who qualifies.  In addition, Senator Sweeney will discuss the Affordable Housing needs of our adult special needs population & his work to champion , lead, and successfully implement in Gloucester County a unique partnership with Rowan University to address this component of this area.

 

There is also a discussion of the growing homeless problem in Cape May County and what these two nonprofits do every day to work with those impacted by that situation. Please take the time to join us..
