Meet the Candidates. Hosted by the Middle Township Chamber of Commerce, the Meet the Candidates Forum will feature candidates from Middle Township including Jeff DeVico for Middle Township Committee and David McCarty for Middle Township School Board, among others. Held at 5:30 p.m., the forum takes place at The Shore Club at 1170 Golf Club Road in Cape May Court House (formerly Wildwood Golf & Country Club). $30 in advance, $35 at the door. 

 

Dennis Township
Dot Merlino and Renee Petit are working to create an inclusive township committee where all voices are heard. The two Dennis Township municipal candidates have received some campaign materials and are working on their campaigns. Please visit and ‘like’ their Facebook page, where they will be posting their schedules for visiting the various Dennis Township communities, at https://www.facebook.com/merlinopettit/. Recently, Dot Merlino participated in Alex’s Lemonade Stand in Somers Point and is focused on building relationships with local fire departments. Canvassing in Belleplain will begin in July.

Middle Township
Deputy Mayor Jeff DeVico is gearing up for his reelection campaign in Middle Township, where Democrats hold the majority. Lower Township
Lower Township Municipal candidates Kit Marlowe, Carmela Palotta, and Tom Poussart, as well as their campaign manager, Ed Williamson, attended a training sponsored by the New Jersey Democratic State Committee. It was a full day of information that included fundraising, compliance, canvassing and messaging...our candidates are on track for the general in November.
